Pakhtunkhwa( KP)Moazzam Jahan Ansari, fulfilling the wish of Dua Imran, a 10-year-old fourth class student from a poor family in Abbottabad.
The minor had wished to meet the IGP in a police uniform, gave him a special police protocol at his office on Monday.
IG-KP invited Dua Imran, along with her father in headquarters in a police car from her home in Abbottabad under the special security of Peshawar Women Police.
It is to be noted that Dua Imran had expressed his desire to meet the IGP through social media in a police uniform.
To fulfill this wish of Dua Imran, the IGP summoned him to his office through the concerned senior police officials wearing police uniform and wearing the rank of SSP.
On arrival at the Central Police Office, Peshawar, he was greeted by a well-armed contingent of police. Senior police officers were also present on the occasion.
Later, the IGP took Dua Imran with him to his office where he stayed with the IGP for some time.
The IGP informed Dua Imran about his engagements and his long-held desire to wear a police uniform.
Mozzam Jah on the occasion, inquired about his education, favorite sport and other hobbies.
The IGP said that your desire to wear a police uniform was a reflection of the love of the people of KP for the police.
The IGP said that Dua Imran is the representative of our little children and I was very happy to find them here.
The IGP presented Dua Imran with a cash prize of Rs 10,000, a police certificate, footballs, books based on children’s stories and other gifts and also presented him with a special police shield as a memento.
Later, the IGP also arranged a lunch in honor of Dua Imran and his father.
