PESHAWAR
Muhammad Faiq Shah, founder and chairman of the Amun Taraqqi Party said that his party would contest the elections on the manifesto of public authority and justice.
Addressing a political gathering and electioneering campaign in Punjab and KP region on Monday, Shah described heredity and interests-based politics as a major hurdle in the country’s progress, asserting for immediate its elimination.
The party leader said people will hold accountability and assessment of those who looted the country, amassed wealth and built castles.
Shah said his party is carrying out a vigorous campaign for public authority and justice.
He claimed a large number of people have joined this campaign which will be sustained till the gaining of objectives.
The ATP chairman made it clear that people power is the only way to get rid of the nation from looters and fraudulent people.
He said his party will disseminate afore-stated manifesto through a campaign dubbed “Empower People’ among children, women and young people across the country.
For the last 76 years, he added, exploitation of people was carried out, stressing to block their way.
Shah demanded of the Election Commission that it should ensure time on national media on an equitable basis to all political parties to put their manifesto and roadmap before people in an efficient manner, calling for removing the impression of Ladla politics, personality-based government and like and dislike.
He furthermore asked to halt the use of pressure and excessive use of wealth in the election process.
He said ATP wants to bring ordinary man to ensure public authority and gave a public manifesto for elimination of feudal lords [Wadera System] and monarch-style system.
The party leader went on to say that change and progress won’t come in parliament and country without public participation.
