Faiq Shah calls for economic development based on equality

PESHAWAR, April-15: Chairman, Amun Taraqqi Party (ATP) Muhammad Faiq Shah has stressed the need for economic development based on equality and brotherliness.

He was shocked that 6 per cent equal to the national economy was eaten by the political elite on their perk and privileges, which is a national crime, saying that the system has been created owing to increasing backwardness and poverty.

Faiq Shah while talking to media persons here on Thursday stated that the Pakistani elite has utilized Rs26trillon on their perks and privileges, which is a national tragedy. He added in the country, wherein the rich have become stronger and richer, and the poor have become poorer.

The ATP chairman said that the poor, which had moved ahead on business, investment and trade of the rich, had been trapped abroad with the hands of the elites.

According to a report of the international institution, Faiq Shah said that 6 per cent equal to the national economy was eaten by the political elite on their perk and privileges, which is a national crime.

The party chief said the system has been created owing to increasing backwardness and poverty. He cautioned that if the ‘pre-dominated’ elite couldn’t be reined, so would the hands of the poor masses on their collars and hold them strictly accountable.

Mr Shah went on to say that all institutions and government would work on the idea of philanthropy on practical grounds, so it can avert the division between rich and poor.

He stressed the need for economic development based on equality and brotherliness. He vowed that ATP will continue its vigorous struggle for making Pakistan a true Islamic welfare state.
