Faiq Shah demands immediate steps to meet with demand of gas and electricity

PESHAWAR, December14: Chairman, Amun Taraqqi Party (ATP) Muhammad Faiq Shah has termed the ongoing electricity and gas crisis a worst incompetence and mismanagement of the present government and asked it to take steps for meeting with the increasing demand of gas and electricity in the country.

Talking to a delegation of industrialists and traders community here on Monday, Faiq Shah said despite production of electricity at the lowest rate, the county is dependent on furnace oil and irregularities, which was worrisome and highly concerning as well as condemnable.

The ATP chairman asked to ensure uninterrupted power and gas supply to domestic consumers, commercial and industrial consumers so that it will bring economic prosperity, development and ease owes to the general masses as well.

“Government should take measures to overcome gas and electricity shortages. Anomalies in the energy sector an alarming one”.

Faiq Shah said it was astonish and much alienable the fact that the government was yet not take any action against the increasing gas and electricity crisis in the country, adding that the vague role in resolution of this crucial matter is proving that the rulers are not serious and incompetent to handle the public issues.

Brigade of aides stationed in the PM house is just for sake of their popularity and shelling of words on opponents, instead of they can do anything for public welfare, the ATP chief noted. He added the people have been deprived from bread and butter as the food-inflation in Pakistan had broken all previous records.

Gas loadshedding in peak winter has made life of masses miserable, he observed, maintaining that the government should pay serious attention towards the increasing gas crisis and fulfill the demand of the natural gas in this season, he demanded. Otherwise, he warned the masses will strongly react against it.
