Muhammad Faiq Shah, founder and chairman of the Amun Taraqqi Party underscored the significance of transparent elections for bringing political and economic stability and maintaining law and order in the country. The ATP chairman said improvement in lives of common people, giving them authority, justice and powers and leadership are topmost among the ATP manifesto.
Addressing a public gathering and chairing different meetings ahead of the Feb 8 general election on Sunday, Shah asserted only young and competent people would steer the country out of the crisis. He said false claims and fake manifesto will not be worked on anymore.
Shah said those who remained in power for three to four decades, failed to deliver people, and carried out mass exploitation have once again become active to gain power. He added these rulers have highly indebted the whole nation and made them slave foreign financial institutions, saying that people will not pardon them.
The party leader said it is a dire need of hour to get rid the nation from dynastic politics. He said politicians and rulers are incapable to address issues of the people
Faiq asked people to not vote for already tested people and favour new parties and manifesto and elected a true public representative government to pull the country out from the crisis. This time, they will not betray people with their empty slogans, because people have recognized them well, he said.
The party leader said division is creating among people of all federating units while hate and immorality in politics was also overwhelmed.
But, he said no one is concerned with people and their rising miseries.
Faiq said price-hike, unemployment and poverty have touched a new peak, while every segment of the society is highly upset under the prevailing circumstances.
The ATP chief emphasized that the young generation deserved special attention now, which is among topmost priority of our party and agenda.
He mentioned even common Pakistanis were feeling troubled in these turbulent times and called for collective efforts to drive out the nation from the current quagmire situation.
Shah said Feb 8 will be the last nail in the coffin of those all political parties, which had continuously deprived people from all facilities, rights.
