Chairman, Amun Taraqqi Party (ATP) Muhammad Faiq Shah has he urged the world community that India should be abstain from carrying out human rights abuses in illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir in order the violence, tyranny and oppression in Kashmir should come into an end, he added.
Faiq was addressing a rally organized by the party in connection with ‘Kashmir Solidarity Day’ here on Saturday.
Scores of party activists and workers participated on the occasion, which were carrying placards and banners inscribed with slogans against illegal Indian occupation in Kashmir, massacre of minorities in India, forced eviction and rapid colonization of Hindus in the occupied territory.
Similarly, Mr Shah on the occasion emphasized the dire need of the hour that Pakistan, China and Russia should collaborate for building of peace, progress and elimination of poverty.
The Sino-Pak trade and defence conglomerate is a unique illustration for the rest of the world, he noted.
He said Pak-China cooperation would be further strengthened after timely completion of development projects that were initiated under multiple-billion dollars China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), which had already been declared as a game changer for Pakistan and the whole region.
Faiq observed that many regional countries have been confronted with serious issues such as poverty and backwardness.
He hoped these nations can change the destiny of people with joint collaboration and efforts.
He stressed the need for enhancing sources of income to bring economic and social stability in the country. He maintained the national economy can be stabilized by taking businessmen and industrialists into confidence.
The ATP Chairman widely praised the ongoing visit of Prime Minister’s Imran Khan to the People’s Republic of China, saying that the Sino-Pak cooperation would be fostered by such initiatives of the present government of Pakistan.
Terming Kashmir as core and extremely a human issue in the region, Mr Shah urged the UN along with Russia and China to play their constructive role toward resolution of the Kashmir issue.
The party leader asked the government to designate competent representatives in the world under effective diplomacy, which could not only highlight the core issue of Kashmir but they can also play a role in resolving regional issues and promotion of foreign investment in Pakistan.
He asserted that the regional issues and attracting foreign investment in Pakistan should be a fundamental component of foreign policy.
Mr Shah recalled that his party had already proposed a comprehensive model: “Diplomacy for Investment”, if the plan would be implemented so it can produce very positive and tangible results/achievements.
