Chairman, Amun Taraqqi Party (ATP) Muhammad Faiq Shah has expressed grave concern over prevailing situations in country, alleging that anti-state spying agencies want to create anarchy in Pakistan, meant to attain their gains.
He asked all political parties and institutions to be united under a single platform to halt commotion, division and secession.
Faiq while chairing a meeting here at the party’s central secretariat on Saturday called upon people to support only those people who having practical manifesto and agenda of progress and reject ‘Lottay’, which had come in power again and again, now they have become useless.
Shah noticed the PTI government led by Imran Khan had gained extraordinary popular support for only justice, accountability and progress but it failed to demonstrate good performance while remaining over three and half years in rule.
He emphasized it is essential to come up with competent, capable and honest people in the prevailing scenario.
Furthermore, he suggested that economists, legal experts, judiciary, military, politicians, traders circles, think tanks along with all institutions should craft a unified national agenda, on which people would have complete trust.
Though, he welcomed the Shehbaz led new government decision to constitute the National Economic Council.
However, he isn’t very optimistic about the proposed council, what he described, such initiatives had taken in the past that remained unproductive and not result-oriented.
He added the priorities didn’t fix as it was the main cause of failure of such previous councils. Faiq asserted that it is a dire need of hour to mutually organise trade, investment, diplomacy and business.
He said his party has proposed a comprehensive strategy and action plan, stressing for its implementation with letter and spirit.
