Muhammad Faiq Shah, founder and chairman of the Amun Taraqqi Party said dynastic politics has served for personal interest and it has no relevance with ordinary people.
The party leader said it has been necessitated to eliminate politics-based on inheritance and personalities and flourish true democracy and democratic culture in the country.
He added if old politicians continued to fight using old methods, they would not be able to find solutions to the country’s problems.
“I want to bury traditional politics and take the country in a new direction,” Mr Shah said while addressing a corner meeting and public gathering here on Saturday.
He said his party wanted such a reform in which ordinary people easily contest election and poll votes and they hold everyone accountable and assess and ask questions from them.
Our quest isn’t for gaining power but ATP is struggling for delegating powers and authority to ordinary people, aiming to make collective leadership and wisdom a source of country’s progress and people’s prosperity.
He asserted public authority and justice is essential to resolve people’s issues on a fast-track basis, for which ATP has played a crucial role and raising an effective voice for people’ rights at every fora.
We want to envoy a message of public authority and justice and a manifesto at every nook and corner of the country, enabling people to struggle for their rights and authorities.
Shah went on to say that Pakistan’s economy is still at crossroads, stating economic experts clearly said political parties were lacking any economic revival agenda/plan.
The ATP chief said there was no agenda with caretakers and selected people as they are all only greedy and hunger of power gain and slaves of personal interests, and give betrayal to people,
He noted doors of justice were only opened for elites while the way of people’ progress and prosperity has been halted.
