Provincial Minister for Local Government, Election and Rural Development Faisal Amin Khan Gandapur has vowed to provide all possible support for all the C-category Tehsil Municipal Administrations (TMAs) in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to meet their financial needs and serve people in better way.
Talking to media on Friday, the minister said that efforts would be made to strengthen TMAs to stand on its own two feet. He said that C-category TMAs would be provided new modern machinery to improve their performance.
The provincial minister, referring to Tank’s TMA, said that Tank’s TMA has limited resources and also facing financial problems, so he would pay special attention to Tank city like other TMAs.
He said that new machinery would be provided to TMA, Tank for solving the civic problems as well as ensuring the provision of funds so that can solve sanitation and other public issues.
Faisal Amin said that special measures will be taken to utilize TMA’s valuable properties, adding that Tank TMA’s valuable properties would be developed through public partnership.
He said that the management of TMA Tank would not have to face any problem in paying their salaries of the personnel at any time.
He said that it was the vision of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government to solve the problems of the citizens at their doorsteps.
