A tragic incident of firing between two rival groups in the Loey Shalman area of Landikotal has left two people dead, casting a shadow of grief during the festive days of Eid, sources said on Monday.
Local sources said a clash between two rival groups erupted that led to gun firing,claiming two individuals’ lives from each side.As the incident happened police rushed to the site and controlled the situation. The incident caused panic and sorrow among residents of the area.
The incident has deeply saddened the local community, especially at a time when Eid is meant to promote joy, unity and brotherhood.
The bodies were initially shifted to Landikotal headquarters hospital for postmortem wherefrom they transported to Loey Shalman for burial. Police registered case against the killers and started investigation.
