Farman lauds efforts of Corp Comdr Peshawar in restoring peace in KP

PESHAWAR : Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Shah Farman Thursday said that due to untried efforts and sacrifices of the security forces peace has now restored in the province.
This he said while in a farewell call on meet by Corp Commander Peshawar lieutenant General Nazir Ahmad Butt here at Governor House Peshawar.
The Governor appreciated the efforts and professional role of Lieutenant General Nazir Ahmad Butt as Corp. Commander Peshawar in restoring peace and law & order situation and initiating developmental schemes in erstwhile tribal districts in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The Governor also praised the efforts of Lieutenant General Nazir Ahmad Butt in bolstering military and civil relations, cooperation and hoped that the same would continue in future.
In the meeting matters related to security issues in the newly tribal merged districts and over all law and order situation were also discussed.
At the end, the governor expressed best wishes to the outgoing Corp. Commander Peshawar Lieutenant General Nazir Ahmed Butt in his future responsibilities.
