Anjum-e-Kashkaran Khyber Pakhtunkhwa president Namat Shah Roghani said that due to the high cost the farmers did not used Diammonium phosphate (DAP) fertilizer in the cultivation of wheat but no the stockist and black markers of fertilizers disappeared the Urea fertilizer and selling on black while the provincial government and administration has closed their eyes.
He expressed these views in a press statement in Mardan on Wednesday. Roghani said that the rate of DAP was reached to Rs 8,500 due to which the farmers were unable to use DAP in the cultivation of wheat.
He added that now the stockist and black marketers have started stockpiling urea fertilizer and selling it at Rs. 2700 instead of the official rate of Rs 1700.
He added that due to which the farmers aren’t capable of using urea. He added that fertilizer dealers have made their own rule because there is no one to ask them. He demanded the government to take strict action against the fertilizer mafia.
