A man shot and killed his father and wife here in Lala Cheena village of Ali Masjid, subdivision Jamrud district Khyber on Friday.
An official in Ali Masjid police while confirming the incident said that, one Arman Shah opened indiscriminate firing on his father identified as Sher Badshah and his wife in his home injured them critically.
They were shifted to the nearest health center for medical aid, but succumbed to their wounds before reaching the hospital, locals said.
Soon after the event, the police officials rushed to the site, apprehended the killer and put behind bars for investigation.
The cause of the murders was stated to be mental abnormality of the assassin.
