LAHORE: Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has decided to carry out monitoring of spinning and textile mills. As per media reports FBR has directed textile sector to install cameras. Sales tax invoice has been sent to spinning mills owners. Sources said FBR has awarded contract of installing cameras to two companies. Companies will charge RS 35 lac for installing two cameras. Sources said software companies will charge Rs 20 lac separately in connection with software per annum. Soft ware and cameras are available in the market at half rate. According to APTMA sources it has decided to take up its matter with chairman FBR. APTMA sources said they will not be able to run mills at so heavies cost. They can go for closing the mills. Textile sector is already closed half owing to electricity and gas tariff and taxes. Online
