Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce & Industry (FCCI) has expedited its efforts to send maximum trade delegations to explore new potential markets, said Syed Zia Alumdar Hussain President FCCI.
He was addressing a “See Off” ceremony for 10-member delegation which will participate in triangular exhibition scheduled to be held in Baku (Azerbaijan) from April 11 to 13, 2019.
Senior Vice President Mina Tanveer Ahmed is heading this delegation while Assistant Secretary General Rana Shabbir Hussain will accompany him to make best arrangements for the participants. Syed Zia Alumdar Hussain said he has already given a vision of “Triple E” for this year. “It includes Economy, Export and Education”, however, we are fully concentrating on enhancing export as it is fully inconformity with the objective of this government.
He requested the participants of the delegation to behave like a true and patriotic Pakistani in addition to negotiating with foreign buyers during their stay in Azerbaijan. They must explore the landlocked central Asian States in order to increase Pakistani export to these virgin markets.
Mian Tanveer Ahmed said FCCI had inked a MoU with Turkish firm TÜMSIAD (All Pakistan Industrialists and Businessman Association) allowing Pakistani exhibitors 20% discount who had booked their stall through FCCI.
He said medicines, surgical appliances, textile, leather, sports and sportswear will be showcased in this exhibition while stall sale would also be allowed.
