LAHORE: Islamabad High Court (IHC) has remarked FIR does not mean to deprive the citizens of their basic facilities. Justice Javid Iqbal Wains of LHC has summoned the investigation officer with record on next hearing in connection with petition filed against blocking the passport, National Identity Card (NIC) and accounts. The court remarked FIR does not mean to deprive the citizen of basic facilities. The passport, NIC and accounts cannot be blocked on desire. This thing goes against FIA. Why did you not seek permission from trial court. Tell us the law under which you took all this action. The investigation officer took the plea a petition of this type of the petitioner has been dismissed by Justice Farooq Haider. Trial court too had dismissed the petition seeking removal of the name of the petitioner from PCL. Two to three cases are registered against the petitioner due to which the these things were blocked.
