A total of 113 graduates were awarded degrees at First ever BS Convocation 2024 of the FATA University.
Some 20 graduates including 19 men and 1 woman got gold medals for outstanding performance.
First ever BS Convocation 2024 of the FATA University was held here today at the Ajab Khan Auditorium FATA University, Darra Adam Khel to commemorate the academic accomplishments of students of academic sessions, 2016-20,2017-21,2018-22 and 2019-23.

In total, 113 students were awarded degrees in undergraduate BS programs. At the convocation, 20 Gold Medals were conferred upon graduates of undergraduate programs who achieved top positions.
The Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Muhammad Jahanzeb Khan congratulated the graduates and their parents on their marvelous achievements and said that the future of our country is dependent on the way we educate and groom them to understand the real challenges. He said that the country’s future hinged on the educated youth.
The Vice Chancellor urged the graduates to better utilize their knowledge for the well-being and uplift of society and the country by making new inventions, innovations, and discoveries in their respective fields of study.
Dr. Muhammad Jahanzeb Khan said that Erstwhile FATA had an abundance of natural resources that needed to be explored and utilized. The precious natural resources could be introduced to the world through effective research, he added.
The Vice Chancellor said that through the latest research and inventions, not only the country’s remittances could be enhanced but poverty could be alleviated as well.
He stressed the graduates to search the hidden treasures in their respective areas and bring them into use for the benefit of the local community as well as the country.
The Convocation was attended by members from the Syndicate, Senate, and senior officials while a large number of parents were also present on the occasion.
