peshawar: A dignified flag hoisting ceremony was held at Peshawar High Court on the occasion of Independence Day / Marka-e-Haq. Chief Justice Peshawar High Court, Justice Syed Muhammad Atiq Shah, hoisted the national flag. On the occasion, a contingent of police presented a salute to the national flag, and the national anthem was played. One minute of silence was observed during the ceremony. The event was attended by judges of the Peshawar High Court, office-bearers and members of bar associations, lawyers, officers, and staff of the Peshawar High Court.
