ISLAMABAD: Former judge of Islamabad High Court (IHC) Tariq Mehmood Jahangiri has paid back the outstanding loan amount of Rs 3 crore. According to media report, former judge Tariq Mehmood Jahangiri had obtained interest free loan for construction of his house. In this regard deduction was made through his salary during his service. At the time of his removal from service , Rs 3 crore were payable by him. The IHC while removing Tariq Mehmood Jahangiri from service in December 2025 in fake degree case had ordered him to return the loan. Online
