Islamabad : Sindh’s former Chief Minister Arbab Ghulam Raheem has been appointed as Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Sindh Affairs, a notification from the cabinet division revealed Wednesday.
Arbab Ghulam Raheem is considered as one of the arch-rivals of Sindh’s ruling party PPP, and he remained province’s Chief Minister from 2004 to 2007.
SAPM was the part of anti-PPP alliance Grand Democratic Alliance in Sindh during 2018 general elections.
