PESHAWAR
A mysterious illness spread in Baka Khel area of Bannu district has claimed the lives of four children and causing fear and concern among local residents. According to police report on Thursday, four children from the same family have died over the past two weeks due to the unidentified disease.
Following the incident, teams from the District Health Department and the Food Department visited the affected area to investigate the situation.
Health and food officials collected blood and food samples for laboratory testing and have initiated an inquiry to determine the cause of the illness. Authorities are awaiting test results and have assured residents that necessary measures will be taken once the source of the disease is identified.
The incident has raised serious concerns among the local community.
