KHAIRPUR: At least four people were killed and another injured when armed men of two groups traded fire here on Saturday. According to details, two rival groups of Jatoi community exchanged fire in village Mango Kharos, Faiz Muhammad Bindo police station jurisdiction in Khairpur. In cross firing, four people from both sides including two brothers Nazar Muhammad Kharos, Raja Khasos s/o Fateh Kharos, Ali Sher Kharos and Saifullah Kharos were killed while a villager was injured. Heavy contingent of police reached the scene and brought situation under control. The bodies and injured were shifted to hospital and police after registering a case into the incident started raids to arrest the culprits involved in firing.
