Islamabad, July 23, 2025 – On the second day of its ongoing Free Medical Camps series for flood victims, a 30-member team from Shifa International Hospitals Limited (SIHL), including six doctors, provided medical services to over 350 patients in the New Chakra area of Rawalpindi.

The initiative aims to deliver essential healthcare to individuals impacted by recent monsoon rains and flooding. A multidisciplinary team of expert doctors in Pediatrics, Internal Medicine, and Emergency Medicine offered comprehensive medical care, including health assessments, free check-ups, expert consultations, and the distribution of essential medicines free of cost.
The medical camp focused on addressing post-flood health issues such as waterborne diseases, respiratory infections, and other acute conditions. Community members widely appreciated the efforts for providing timely and compassionate care at a critical moment.

“Shifa International Hospital remains steadfast in its commitment to serving humanity and promoting community welfare,” said a hospital spokesperson. “Through such initiatives, we not only address immediate health concerns but also help restore hope and resilience in affected communities.”
SIHL will continue to support flood-affected populations in the coming days and remains ready to respond swiftly to public health needs during emergencies.
