CHARSADDA: The funeral prayer of Imran Khan, who was killed during a terrorist attack on a police check-post in Dheri Zardad area on Saturday evening was offered with full official honors in Police Lines Charsadda. Regional Police Officer (RPO) Mardan Muhammad Ali Khan, District Police Officer (DPO) Sohail Khalid, Deputy Commissioner (DC),Qasim Ali Khan, Circle SDPO, SHOs, a large number of police officers and Jawans, family members of the martyred policeman and political leaders attended the funeral prayers. A contingent of police presented guard of honour to the martyred cop on this occasion. Senior police officers laid flowers wreaths on the coffin of the martyred policeman. One policeman, Imran embraced martyrdom and two others namely Yousif Ali and Rameez Khan were wounded in the terrorist attack. Following the incident, police has launched search operation and the area where the attack took place was cordoned off the area. Crime Reporter
