SP Zunair Ahmad Cheema led operation recovered 68 tons stolen jewelry

Police on Tuesday busted two persons of a gang allegedly stole 90 tons jewelleries from two different houses during the Muharram processions.
According to details, police after an operation, led by SP Cantt Ahmad Zunair Cheema, busted a gang of robbers and recovered Rs 52 lakh and 68 tons of gold.
Police during the operation also arrested two persons namely Haider Ali and Saleem Khan. It further said that accused belonged to Peshawar and Parachinar.
The operation, led by SP Cantt, was carried out with help of Town police station and Tehkal police station.
Police said that during the operation, Freezers, air conditioners and other miscellaneous household items bought in exchange for selling stolen goods were also recovered.
