PESHAWAR
A four-day workshop on enterprise development training for boutique and gemstone clusters concluded in the provincial metropolis concluded here on Monday.
The training workshop was organised by
Khyber Pass Economic Corridor (KPEC) and Empowerment through Creative Integration (ECI).
A total of ten business clusters were identified in Peshawar and tribal district Khyber, while boutique and Gemstone clusters, through a detailed assessment study and now based on training needs assessment, 500 entrepreneurs are being trained in business management under a capacity building programme.
The training was conducted between June 6 and June 10 with the objective of enhancing business development, promotion, and management skills.
In this training, 26 women and 26 men completed their training successfully.
The following dignitaries attended the closing ceremony of the trainings, Imran Zahoor, Project Director, KPEC, Sadiq Hussain, Trade specialist, KPEC, Ms. Mehanz, Gender Specialist from KPEC, Haji Mahmor, Pattern in chief ACPCIA, Syed Mihanjuuddin, Chairman, APCIA, Sartaj Ahmad Khan, Coordinator FPCCI, Azra Jamshed, President, Women Chamber of Commerce, Anila Khalid, Vice, President, Women Chamber of Commerce and Muhammad Arif, Project Manager, ECI.
At the end of the training, the chief guests distributed certificates to those who successfully completed the training.
Under this project, training will be provided to 50 more entrepreneurs from these sectors.
