Gul Buledi said that Pakistan is lagging behind in terms of gender equality and women’s rights in the world.
We have to implement the promises made in this regard in the World Forum by 2030.
Awareness needs to be spread among the people that women need to be involved in decision making to be empowered. Our Islam commands women to share in property and so does the law.
Therefore, if it is implemented, giving rights to women will only improve the society and develop the economy.
