Gold price falls for second week by Rs2,350 a tola

ISLAMABAD: Gold price in the country fell for the second straight week by Rs2,350 (-1.03 percent) per tola after the prices in the international markets took a dip after hitting an all-time high. The gold rate for a single tola of 24-karat decreased to Rs225,150 from Rs227,500 during the week, according to the data shared by the different gold associations. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold closed the week at Rs193,030 against Rs195,054 at the start of the week, reflecting a dip of Rs2,024. Following suit, the price for 10 grams of 22-karat gold decreased to Rs176,944 from Rs178,791 during the week under review, reflecting a dip of Rs1,847. It is important to note that gold rates in Pakistan are influenced by trends in the global market.
