‘Gomal Youth Campaign’ started in various localities of the district here on Thursday to attract attention of candidates for the solution of long lasting problems including health, education, roads, clean drinking water and employment.
On the eve of general elections to be held on February 8, Gomal Youth Campaign campaign started by the youths led by Engineer Ghulam Muhammad Miani, Shaukat Bettani, Faizullah Gandapur, Shahid Shah Pir, Tariq Shah Garwaki and others, said that voters sell their precious votes at a cost of some money which drag the people of our three union councils including Gomal, Dabara and Sarangzuna towards backwardness.
They said that health, education, water, roads and employment are their basic rights but they have been deprived from these basic rights in this era.
They started door to door campaign in Kot Khaddak, Murtaza, Garwaki Machenkhel, Kot Nawaz and other areas that due to ignoring the attitude of the ex-parliamentarians when they were in power, they started the drive as if it was real time to reject them till fulfilment of their demands.
They were using banners on vehicles that the youth community would select a candidate in the upcoming election, if they get a guarantee for the solution of their problems.
They said that if found someone to sell vote would be dealt according to norms of the society and area.
