Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi on Tuesday strongly condemned the blast in Sarai Naurang Bazaar of Lakki Marwat district and expressed deep sorrow over the loss of innocent lives in the incident.
The Governor expressed heartfelt sympathies with the families of the deceased and said that he equally shared their grief in this difficult time.
He also prayed for the early recovery of those injured in the blast.
Faisal Karim Kundi said that the increasing incidents of terrorism across the province, particularly in the southern districts, were highly alarming and called upon the provincial government to take serious and practical measures for ensuring rule of law and durable peace.
The Governor said that terrorists involved in shedding the blood of innocent people deserved no leniency, adding that enemies of peace and humanity would never succeed in their nefarious designs.
He said that the sacrifices rendered by the people of the province, police and security forces in the fight against terrorism would not go in vain.
