Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Faisal Karim Kundi on Monday condemned the killing of journalist Hasan Zeb in Nowshera and expressed his deep sorrow over the tragic incident.
Expressing his heartfelt sympathy and condolence to the family of the slain journalist, the governor has prayed for the patience of the deceased and the bereaved. He said that he was shocked to hear the tragic incident and also directed the concerned department to take measures to immediately arrest those involved in the killing of the journalist.
Anwar Zeb told the police he escaped unhurt in the attack but his brother died on the spot.
Police started investigation into the attack after registering the case against unknown persons.
Hassan Zeb, 40, was associated with the Peshawar-based Urdu daily Aaj and was a member of the Khyber Union of Journalists and Peshawar Press Club (PPC).
