Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Shah Farman has lauded Prime Minister Imran Khan’s relief package and termed the move wise and excellent decision in the current situation.
In a statement issued from Governor House Peshawar he said that the PM relief package will directly benefit the poor section of the society.
Governor Shah Farman said that the Coronavirus pandemic has largely affected the global economy and led the prices of all necessary commodities high.
He said that during a difficult economic condition Pakistan played well to combat Covid-19 and keep its financial matters stable, adding the new package would directly benefit the business community as well as the common man.
Shah Farman claimed that PM Imran Khan is trying hard to manage the ongoing inflation crisis and other political challenges in the country.
It is pertinent to mention here that PM Imran Khan on Monday announced a relief package for the inflation hit citizens and reduced the prices of petrol and diesel by Rs10 per liter and electricity by Rs 5 per liter. He also pledged with the nation in his address that its government would increase the prices until the next federal budget.
