17 treatment centers sealed by KP health care commission

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) health care commission continued the anti-quackery campaign and inspected different healthcare establishments to ensure quality healthcare services, said a handout.
The commission inspection teams in continuation of the anti-quackery campaign carried out inspection of 104 Healthcare Establishments (HCEs) in District Mardan.
During the action, the health care commission sealed 17 Health care establishments to different malpractices, unhygienic conditions, lack of qualified staff, keeping expired kits and collection tubes and lack of proper waste disposal management system, etc.
It said that 17 show cause notices were issued to the health care establishments due to non-compliance and required directions were issued by the inspection teams.
