In Mardan, the government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa continues to supply quality flour to the people at fixed rates.
In this regard, the total quota of flour for Mardan district has been set at 125 metric tons. Under the said quota, a total of 4,375 flour bags of 20 kg are available in Mardan district, which are being provided to the public at the rate of Rs 2,520 per 20 kg bag.
Additionally, there are 179 registered flour dealers certified by Deputy Commissioner Mardan in District Mardan, through which fair and efficient distribution of flour is being ensured. There are currently 15 flour mills functional in Mardan district, from where flour is being manufactured and supplied to dealers.
Under the supervision of the District Food Controller, Mardan, the supply, quality and sale process of flour at the fixed official rate is being continuously monitored to ensure timely availability of flour to the people at the fixed rate.
