ISLAMABAD: Salaries and allowances of judges of Supreme Court (SC) AND High Court have been increased. With the approval of summary by the president Asif Ali Zardari, under the recommendations of federal government, the salaries and allowances of judges of Supreme Court (SC) have been increased at par with those of judges of the Federal Constitutional Court (FCC), Basic salary of judges of high courts too has been enhanced. Revised salaries and allowances will take effect retrospectively from December 10, 2025. SC judges will receive the increased benefits for the intervening period as well. The outstanding arrears will also be paid to them. Basic monthly salary of Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) has been fixed Rs1.55 million, while salary of other judges has been fixed Rs 15 lac.
