Minister for Information and Broadcasting Chaudhary Fawad Hussain has said on Monday that the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) elections are important in two respects, for the first time in the history of the government held free and fair elections and only Imran Khan fulfilled his promise of strong local government.
Taking to social media micro-blogging website twitter, the minister said that powers were being transferred directly to the elected representatives at the tehsil level otherwise it was easy to have a dictator in the case of the Chief Minister and run the business which was the tradition of PPP and PML-N.
The people of Sindh were still suffering from this attitude, he added.
