LAHORE: Accepting the federal government plea on Monday a division bench of the Lahore High Court granted time to declassify Toshakhana record making it public and for assistance of the court. A two-member bench led by Justice Shahid Bilal Hassan was hearing a plea seeking Toshakhana record public where deputy attorney general for Pakistan appeared with request for more time to observe the court’s earlier directives in the matter. It is mentioned that the federal government has challenged the court decision to make the record public.
After entertaining the government request for more time the bench adjourned the hearing till next week. TLTP
