Acknowledging Women’s Creativity in Exhibitions and Sports

Under the auspices of the District Youth Affairs Department, Peshawar, and in collaboration with the district administration, “Women’s Week” was celebrated with great enthusiasm.
The event featured various sports competitions and educational activities, showcasing women’s creative talents and achievements. Students from different schools participated, displaying their impressive skills throughout the week.
The closing ceremony of the exhibition, part of the Women’s Week festivities, was held at Hayatabad Sports Complex, with distinguished guests including the Additional Deputy Commissioner, Assistant Commissioners, and the Additional Inspector General (AIG) Women Peshawar.
District Youth Officer Faheem Hayat was also in attendance, presenting certificates and commemorative shields to the participants and winners.
The primary aim of the exhibition was to highlight and encourage women’s creativity. Female students from various schools in Peshawar actively participated in events such as badminton, Naat recitation, and other activities. Those who excelled in these competitions were specially recognized with awards.
During the closing ceremony, the outstanding performances of women were acknowledged, and they were presented with certificates and trophies.
The special guests, including the Assistant Commissioner and AIG Women Peshawar, commended the participants for their efforts and highlighted the importance of such events in providing opportunities for women to progress and refine their talents.
