Under the plan, the design, signage and front elevations of buildings will be developed on modern lines, keeping in view technical standards and principles of urban aesthetics. Authorities concerned have been directed to initiate practical steps at the earliest.
The minister further directed that a meeting of local traders and other stakeholders be convened under the chairmanship of the deputy commissioner to take the business community into confidence.
