Gwadar MoU singed for drinkable water

ISLAMABAD: In order to ensure potable water, urgent medical facilities and pollution-free environment to the citizens of Gwadar, Alkhidmat Foundation Balochistan and Gwadar Municipal Committee (GMC) signed a landmark MoU, according to a Gwadar Pro’s report. As per the MoU signed by Gwadar Municipal Committee Chairman Majid Johar and Alkidmat Foundation Balochistan president Abdul Majeed, collaboration and joint work will ease the public daily life. Under the MoU, Alkhidmat Foundation Gwadar will install water filtration plants in various areas. It will also make available the facility of water boring as per the demand. Gwadar Municipal Committee will build a 20,000-gallon underground water tank. Meanwhile, GMC will set up an emergency response center on its premises where Alkhidmat foundation will not only provide necessary items and modern equipment but also arrange professional training for the staff.
