Hazara region police observe Police Martyrs Day

Following the instructions of the Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Hazara region Mirwais Niaz, a number of ceremonies were organized in connection with Police Martyrs Day.
A ceremony was held at Jalal Baba Auditorium under the patronage of DIG Hazara Mirwais Niaz and DPO Abbottabad Sajjad Khan in the headquarters of Hazara Region Abbottabad, in which the families of martyrs Abbottabad Police attended as special guests.
DC Abbottabad Tariq Salam Marwat, MNA Uzmi Riaz Jadoon, MPA Sardar Aurangzeb Nalotha, General (retd) Ayaz Saleem Rana, civil society representatives, media representatives, businessmen and teachers and students of Muslim school education system attended the event.
Addressing the ceremony, DIG Hazara said that today is important because those who sacrificed their precious lives for their duty.
There was a time when the police was on the target of terrorists, even in these situations, the police stood with their chests up and continued to perform their duties, he added.
He paid tribute to our martyrs and highlighted the role of policemen in maintaining peace in the region.

“ I am giving a message to all families of the martyrs of Hazara police that my office is always a desk for providing facilities to the families of martyrs,” he added.

Sardar Aurangzeb Nalotha, General (retd) Ayaz Saleem Ranane also expressed their views while paying tribute to the martyrs of the police and said that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa police have always made eternal sacrifices for the eradication of terrorism and the establishment of peace.

We salute the martyrs of the police and all their families who bravely fought against the anti-national elements, he added.

DIG Hazara also distributed gifts to the families of martyrs.
