Pakistan People’s Party central leader and former Federal Minister Nawabzada Khawaja Muhammad Khan Hoti on Thursday said that Imran Khan in past said that those people should give resignation against whom corruption is proved.
“Now Imran Khan should apologize to the nation on foreign funding case decided against him and also give resignation”, he added. He expressed these views while talking to the media.
Khawaja Hoti added that the Election Commission has given a show cause notice to Imran Khan, but instead of responding to the notice, Imran Khan has created a ruckus by starting a rally against the Election Commission.
He added that the procession and rallies against the election commission show that something is wrong.
He said that the government should order an attested copy of the statement given by Arif Naqvi from London.
He argued that the issue is not only 21 million, but 30 million was ordered to spend on the Islamabad sit-in. He added that the accountability of the huge amount sent by the Bill Gates Foundation for the Corona Hospital is still pending.
Khawaja Khan said that Chief Justice Umar Attabandial and the other two judges who gave the verdict against Hamza Shahbaz for the sake of the dignity of the judiciary should apologise for being part of the bench regarding the reference against Imran Khan.
