Gayrat Ahmadshoev, Head of UNHCR Peshawar Sub-Office, called on Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Shah Farman at Governor House here on Wednesday.
On the occasion, the Head of UNHCR Peshawar Sub Office appreciated the role of the Government of Pakistan and people in hosting Afghan refugees.
Shah Farman appreciated UNHCR’s services in providing assistance in the crisis and said the United Nations should ensure humanitarian assistance to Afghan refugees and the Afghan people. He said that the international community must come forward and help the Afghan people in order to provide humanitarian assistance in Afghanistan.
