ISLAMABAD
Federal Health Ministry (FHM) has decided to launch anti polio campaign from April 13 to 19. Effective strategy has been evolved for high risk areas including Karachi, Quetta, South KP.
5 days full campaign and 2 days catch up campaign will be launched in every union council of high risk areas.
In ordinary union councils, 3 days full and 4 days catch up campaign will be conducted. The target for administering polio drops to 4 crore 53 lac children has been set during the campaign.
Over 4 lac 13 thousands front line polio workers will participate in anti polio campaign. Vitamins A will also be provided to children during anti polio campaign. Only one polio case has emerged this year due to effective polio campaign.
