Hearing of cipher case against PTI founder Imran Khan and former foreign minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi could not take place on Tuesday being public holiday in connection with Youm-e-Takbeer and it is likely to be held today. A division bench of Islamabad High Court (IHC) comprising Chief Justice (CJ) IHC Aamir Farooq and justice Miangul Hassan Aurangzeb will hear the case. Prosecutor FIA, Zulfiqar Naqvi and Suleman Safdar and Taimore Malik counsels for Imran Khan will appear in the court.
It is pertinent to mention here Imran Khan and Shah Mehmood Qureshi were awarded Rigorous punishment 10 years eac h on January 30 this year.
Cipher case pertains to diplomatic documents which had allegedly disappeared from possession of Imran Khan.
