ISLAMABAD
The Accountability Court (AC) has adjourned the hearing of Toshakhana case against former Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif Yousuf Raza Gillani, former president Asif Zardari and others till December 20.
Tosha Khana case against Asif Zardari, Nawaz Sharif, Yousuf Raza Gillani and others came up for hearing before judge Muhammad Basheer of AC Thursday.
Qazi Misbah counsel for Nawaz Sharif, Arshid Tabrez, , NAB prosecutor Irfan Bhola and Sohial Arif appeared in the court
Rana Irfan pleader of Imran Khan also appeared in the court and joined investigation.
Defence counsel said questions have been given and answers to questions have also been provided. The investigation officer told reply has been filed.
Prosecutor told the court more proceedings will be initiated. Some time is needed.
Defence counsel Qazi Misbah told the court Nawaz Sharif has joined investigation. Questionnaire was provided. NAB reference was made in 2019. Nawaz Sharif was seriously ill at that time.
He told there was no demand from Nawaz Sharif for acquiring vehicle. No document is available that Nawaz Sharif had demanded any vehicle.
The court inquired from NAB what should we do now on it. Prosecutor said now we will see the statement and then more proceedings will be initiated on it.
The court adjourned the hearing of the case till December 20.
