High level meeting finalises preparations for FA/FSc examinations starting Nov 12

Preparations have been finalized for the upcoming FA/FSc II examinations commencing from November 12, with the provincial government resove to ensure a transparent and fair examination process free from all forms of cheating and use of unfair means.
A high-level meeting, chaired by Commissioner Mardan Division Nisar Ahmad, reviewed the arrangements for the examinations. Besides Deputy commissioner Mardan Wasif Rehman, the meeting was attended by ADC Swabi, SP Headquarters Mardan, Principals and other relevant officers attended. Commissioner Mardan emphasized that all stakeholders must play their due role in maintaining the integrity of the examination system and ensuring its smooth conduct.
Chairman Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Mardan, Professor Jehanzeb, lauded the cooperation of the district administration in organizing the exams in a free and fair manner. “Due to these efforts, students will depend on their hard work instead of unfair practices,” he said, adding that BISE Mardan recently secured second position in the MD-CAT results, a reflection of its improving academic standards.
According to board officials, 40,600 students are expected to appear in the forthcoming examinations. To accommodate them, 106 examination halls for male students and 68 for female students have been established across the division. The chairman assured that furniture will be provided to colleges facing shortages, while CCTV cameras will be installed in all examination centers to ensure close monitoring.
Commissioner Nisar Ahmad directed all concerned departments and officials to extend full cooperation to the education board for holding the intermediate examinations in a transparent, disciplined, and fair manner.
