Repeated attacks on police, the concerned quarters have issued high security alert in Peshawar with search operations in different areas of the city continued after Takhtbak suicide blast.
The process of checking at the entrances and exits of the city has become more strict and Policemen have been told to keep a vigilant eye so as to avoid any untoward incident.
Vehicles entering the city and common people are being searched for their full clothes, however, additional personnel have been deployed at check posts, SSP Operation told media men.
He also directed re-checking of CCTV cameras in the city as mainly attacks on police have increased a lot this year but the morale of the officers and Police Jawan is high and they are ready for all kinds of situations, SSP Operation Peshawar said.
He said, the terrorists will get a befitting reply on every front and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police is a force of braves and martyrs.
He disclosed that CCPO also visited various Police Stations and checked the required equipment to deal with any of the situation.
He said security arrangements were reviewed, instructions were also issued on the spot during the visit of the CCPO. The morale of the police is high, terrorists will be dealt with on every front, SSP Operation said.
