Motorway police recovered two stolen vehicles cars and arrested two culprits
Islamabad(PR): The Inspector General NH&MP Shaukat Hayat distributed commendation certificates and cash rewards among the North Zone officers SPO Ehtasham-ur- Rehman and PO Islam Khan on their excellent
performance in a ceremony at NH&MP headquarter, Islamabad. The IG, NH&MP appreciated the performance of officers and advised them to keep on performing their duties with dedication. IG, said that
the NH&MP officers render prompt assistance to road users and also ensure timely help to commuters in distress. He said honesty courtesy and help are our core values.
Motorway Police recovered two stolen vehicles and arrested two culprits. According to the details, Motorway Police received information Helpline (130) that a grey colour Suzuki Mehran Car No. LED-6499,
Model 2011 has been stolen from Civil line, Sialkot and requested for help to recover the said car. On this information the Motorway Police alert all its patrolling vehicles. After few minutes the NH&MP officers SPO
Ejaz Toori and SPO Raviaz and PO Jan Alam observed the said car on GT road in the area of Kamra and signaled to stop but the driver instead stopping fled away, however, NH&MP officers chased the car and
stop the car through commando action at Hakimabad Toll Plaza and arrested a car lifter namely Faiz ul allah s/o Abdul Kahar r/o Sawabi.
In 2 nd incident, Motorway Police speed checking squad was busy in routine checking of over speeding of the vehicles on Motorway in the area of Burhan, they informed SPO Rafaqat Shah and PO Sajid Wali to stopped a white colour Carry Van No. LEB-8350 on lane violation and over speeding which was looking suspicious. Motorway Police officer stopped said car on Motorway (M-1) near Burhan. During
investigation he found suspicious and he confessed his crime and told that the said car was stolen from the, Lahore. Motorway Police arrested culprit namely Majid Hussain r/o Lahore. The Motorway Police informed the concerned Local Police about all these incidents and later on, the Motorway Police handed over the arrested culprits.
