Hotel industry of Pakistan is severely affected by political instability in the country: Barrister Mansoor Shah

Pakistan’s Hotel Association (PHA), newly elected senior vice chairman, Barrister Mansoor Shah said that Pakistan hotel industry is also severely affected by political instability and inflation in the country.
“After the Army Chief’s recent meetings with industrialists and investors, signs of recovery in the country’s economy are beginning to be seen. The meeting has restored the confidence of the business community and resulted in a reduction in artificial inflation along with the devaluation of the dollar” he expressed these views while talking to the media.
Barrister Mansoor Shah said that it is necessary for the government to keep in close contact with the investors and take steps to solve their problems on a priority basis. He said that the hotel industry is one of the key sectors of the economy and contributes significantly to the national treasury in terms of various taxes and revenues.
The newly elected SVC of Pakistan Hotel Association (PHA), thanked the members for their trust and pledged that he will use his energies to solve the problems faced by the hotel association at the national level.
He said that he will work for the protection and improvement of the hotel industry, which is providing the best facilities and services to tourists around the world. He said that tourism in Pakistan should be promoted as an industry, and investors related to this industry should be encouraged at the government level and should be provided facilities so that more and more domestic and foreign investors invest in this industry.
He said that this is the mission of Pakistan Hotel Association, to present a better image of Pakistan and the beauty of Pakistani regions to domestic and foreign tourists.
